New Zealand has whitewashed India in the three-Test series at home.
On Sunday, the visiting team defeated India by 25 runs in the third Test to clinch the series three-nil.
Chasing a target of 147 runs, the Indian team was bowled out for 121 runs in the third Test match played in Mumbai, India. For New Zealand, Ijaz Patel took six wickets while Glenn Phillips took three wickets.
In the second innings of the third Test, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma scored 11 runs while Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Sarfraz Khan scored only one run each.
The New Zealand team was dismissed by scoring 235 runs in the first innings and 174 runs in the second innings, while the host team India scored 263 runs in the first innings and 121 runs in the second innings.
The visitors won the opening match in Bangalore, India by eight wickets, the first time in 36 years that New Zealand had defeated the hosts in a Test match on their home ground.
It may be noted that the last time India suffered a defeat at home was in 2000, when South Africa whitewashed them in a two-match series.
