A film is being made on the life of legendary Indian singer and actor Kishore Kumar, who composed many superhit songs and acted in dozens of films from 1946 to 1987.
In this film directed by filmmaker Anurag Basu, famous Bollywood actor Aamir Khan will play the role of Kishore Kumar.
According to NDTV, talks are in final stages with Aamir Khan to play the lead role in the biopic.
Filmmakers Anurag Basu and Bushan Kumar are keen to make a film on Kishore Kumar’s life.
According to reports, the filmmakers are keen to present the film on the life of late singer Kishore Kumar in the best possible way.
Aamir Khan is also one of Kishore Kumar’s big fans and Aamir Khan liked the film plan presented to him by Anurag Basu.
According to the report, this film is being presented in a very unique way by the filmmaker. Aamir Khan and Anurag Basu have met four times so far and things are going in the right direction.
Aamir Khan is currently considering acting in six different films which are currently in various stages of production.
All movie offers from Aamir Khan have been liked.
However, out of these six films, Aamir Khan will act in three films and it is expected to be announced by the end of this year.
This is not the first time that Aamir Khan has been offered a project by Anurag Basu.
During Covid, Anurag Basu offered a project in which Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were to play the lead roles, but the work on the film never started.
Apart from this biopic and ‘Satare Zameen Par’, Aamir Khan is working on ‘Lahore 1947’ which has Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol and Ali Fazal in the cast.
