The spokesman of the Nawaz Sharif family has said in a statement on the news that Hassan Nawaz’s company was declared bankrupt by the British court that the process of bankruptcy started in 1972 when the industries were nationalized for the first time during the time of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. I also belonged to the Sharif family.
On Sunday, it was reported in the media that the London High Court has declared Nawaz Sharif’s son Hasan Nawaz bankrupt.
In a statement issued on Monday, the spokesperson of the Sharif family said that General Pervez Musharraf did the same thing after the Bhutto era. The personal houses of the Sharif family were seized and the factories were sealed as an extreme measure of cruelty.
‘After that, Saqib Nisar and Company repeated this cruelty during their reign and destroyed the Sharif family’s industry. Just to punish the Sharif family, their family business has been bankrupted four times. Such ups and downs are not new for the Sharif family.‘
The statement said that for the sake of the country, nation and principles, the Sharif family endured years of hard-earned private business losses and personal suffering.
According to the spokesman, tax is not paid during the period of bankruptcy of the companies and the British court has confirmed the same position of Hasan Nawaz.
Remember, on Sunday night, the news came that Hassan Nawaz, the son of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, was declared bankrupt by the London High Court. The British court had declared Hasan Nawaz bankrupt in the tax case of the British government’s tax and revenue department.
Hasan Nawaz was declared insolvent in case number 694.
According to the Bankruptcy Order published in the UK Gazette, the said case was filed in the Low Court on August 25, 2023.
And the bankruptcy order was issued on 29 April 2024.
