Justice Mansoor Ali Shah wrote in his letter that he did not attend the reference of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar on overstepping and now he will not attend the reference of Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa.
He wrote that the role of the Chief Justice is to protect the rights of the people, defend the independence of the judiciary and provide justice to all.
He wrote that Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa buried his head in the sand like an ostrich for interfering in the judiciary.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah wrote that ‘Justice Qazi Faiz Isa did not show the courage to defend the judiciary and It provided an opportunity to those who want to weaken the courts for their own interests.
It is written in the letter that the Chief Justice ignored the external pressure on the judiciary and in his view the decisions of the judiciary have no value and respect.
He said that the Chief Justice created differences among his fellow judges, the effects of which will remain on the judiciary.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah wrote in the letter that Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa failed to establish the necessary respect for judicial tolerance and harmony.
