Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has given the final call for the movement to release PTI founder Imran Khan.
Talking to the media in Islamabad, he said that a big rally will be held on November 9 at Swabi Motorway in which all the central leadership will participate.
“When going to the meeting place, they will tie a shroud on their head, after which the next plan of action will be presented to the public.”
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa told the journalists of Peshawar that ‘Swabi Jalsa will be decided on which day. On that day, in the form of Jirga, everyone will sit and present a resolution.’
He further said that he will give the final call on November 9, after which there will be protests across the country and that will be the last call.
Will the workers leave on the call of the Chief Minister?
After the Chief Minister’s announcement, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers are busy preparing for the rally in Swabi. Longtime PTI workers are hopeful that Ali Amin Gandapur’s strategy will succeed, but some workers believe that the chief minister will give a new date again.
He is of the opinion that after the disappearance of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur from the public scene in Islamabad, the workers have become a victim of distrust, to end which the Chief Minister will have to take a final decision.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has instructed all the cabinet members to bring as many workers as possible, while he has asked each member of the provincial assembly to bring 500 workers to the meeting place.
On the other hand, PTI district leaders have been assigned the task of mobilizing workers at the village council level.
Provincial Minister Pakhtun Yar has taken the position that the decision regarding the nationwide protest will be taken through consultation and in this regard a big jirga will be held in Swabi.
“There will be one point agenda in the Jirga and that is how to protest for the release of Imran Khan.”
He says that more than the leaders, the workers and ordinary citizens are anxious to know when the protest will take place. “There is a lot of pressure on the Prime Minister from the workers, but Ali Amin Gandapur wants to take all the leaders along so that a decision can be taken in consultation.”
‘November 9 will not be a big action’
According to Muhammad Faheem, senior journalist of Peshawar, PTI will adopt the same method in Swabi as it did before.
‘There will be no big meeting and no extraordinary measures will be taken. The PTI leadership wants more time, that’s why they will give more time by holding a meeting in Swabi.’
In a conversation with Urdu News, senior journalist Muhammad Fahim said that there is a lot of pressure from the workers as well as the central leadership to do something.
There will be protests to reduce this pressure, but this time too there will be no major action. The party leadership will give a speech and go home.’
Analyst Safiullah believes that the Chief Minister is using threats this time as well so that the federal government takes strict action.
On the other hand, the Chief Minister has announced to give privileges to the government employees arrested in D Chowk. He says that with this initiative, other government employees will also participate in the PTI rally.
According to Safiullah, PTI’s internal differences have also come to the fore. Some party leaders do not want Ali Amin to succeed in the Gandapur movement.
“A new date will be announced after addressing the rally on November 9.”
Muslim League-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa spokesman Arbab Khizr Hayat has said in a statement that the Prime Minister is rebelling by repeatedly challenging the federation. Talks of getting rid of Imran Khan by tying a shroud on his head do not make the chief minister happy.
He said that the politics of Tehreek-e-Insaf could not go beyond sit-ins and processions. If they remain in this condition, there will be a government of PML-N and allies in this province.
