In the letter, the Congress members also alleged electoral rigging and irregularities in the last general elections in Pakistan. According to the text of the letter, the government used its influence to defeat the country’s popular party PTI and its leaders by changing their votes.

According to the letter, the government did not allow the monitoring reports of organizations such as the Commonwealth Observer Group and the European Union on the election to be made public. In the letter, the Congress members have taken a stand that Pakistan’s popular leader Imran Khan has been illegally imprisoned.
“Various international organizations have also demanded the release of senior leaders including Imran Khan, including Yasmin Rashid and Shah Mehmood Qureshi, but we have not come to our knowledge of any effort by the American Embassy in this regard.”

On the question that if the US or any other country demands the release of Imran Khan from Pakistan, what will be the reaction of the government?
