The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be held in the three North American countries of America, Canada and Mexico.
According to NDTV, this is the first time in history since 1994 that the FIFA World Cup will be held in three different countries.
The final of FIFA World Cup 2026 will be held at the Melitta Life Stadium, Rutherford, USA and in the final, Donald Trump, who recently won the US presidential election, is expected to present the trophy to the winning team of the World Cup.
But with the victory of Trump, the fear of a new controversy regarding the FIFA World Cup has also arisen.
Donald Trump announced during his election campaign that he would make the process of obtaining US visas tougher and impose new conditions.
Now, if Donald Trump implements his plan, it will mean that football fans from all over the world who want to reach the United States may face difficulties.
On the other hand, the bid to host the FIFA World Cup by bidding and lobbying in favor of the United States was won during Donald Trump’s previous presidency from 2016 to 2020.
The number of teams participating in the FIFA World Cup 2026 has been increased from 32 to 48.
The United States, Canada and Mexico jointly won the voting process over Morocco at the 68th FIFA Congress in Moscow.
FIFA has already announced the 16 host cities of the three countries for the 2026 World Cup.
The number of FIFA World Cup matches has also been increased from 64 to 104, while a team will now play eight matches instead of seven to reach the final.
The FIFA World Cup will now last 39 days instead of 32 days, but each team will still play three group matches.
