‘Wah Satri Hai Kuch Bhi Karai Hai’, this is the dialogue from the movie Satri Two which is echoing all over its success.
According to Koi Moi, the film was made with a budget of just Rs 60 crore and surprisingly, the film has so far grossed over INR 600 crore.
The success of the film is instrumental in bringing actress Shraddha Kapoor to the list of Rs 1000 crore earners after the coronavirus pandemic.
Only five Indian actresses have crossed this milestone so far.
Only two films of Shraddha Kapoor have been released after the corona virus epidemic. These include ‘Tu Jhuti Mein Makar’ and ‘Satri Two’.
‘Tu Joothi Mein Makar’, which starred Ranbir Kapoor alongside Shraddha Kapoor, failed to cross any major milestones at the box office.
However, ‘Thirty Two’, which was released this year, has achieved success beyond the expectations of observers.
Actor Rajkumar Rao played the lead role opposite Shraddha Kapoor in ‘Three Two’.
‘Stree Two’ has so far collected INR 625 crores while ‘Too Jhooti Mein Makar’ has collected INR 146 crores.
Thus, if the total volume of business of both the films is seen, so far both the films have done a business of 721 crore Indian rupees.
This means Shraddha Kapoor needs Rs 228 crore more to join the list of 1000 crore earning actresses.
Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming films include ‘Chaal Baaz in London’ and ‘Three Three’, but their release dates are yet to be revealed.
